Cristiano Ronaldo scored 2 goals in Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory over Granada at Bernabeu tonight. However, the Portuguese captain didn’t seem to celebrate the goals, which is rare. But before the press get the satisfaction on accusing him sulking about his lost over Iniesta was the reason behind it, Cristiano Ronaldo made a statement at the after match interview.

“I didn’t celebrate my goals because I was sad for a personal matter”,said Ronaldo.

” I can’t say more. The audience who was here tonight knows what I mean. Nothing to do with the UEFA Player of the year, that’s the past .”

Well, what ever the reason was, probably it’ll going to leak tomorrow.

A shirtless Cristiano Ronaldo leaves a Real Madrid training session in Los Angeles. The Portuguese winger flaunted his toned torso as he was driven away from the hour-long practice session at the University of California on the back of a golf buggy. Ronaldo, who is in the United States for Real Madrid’s summer tour, was seen with an ice pack on his left ankle as he smiled at cheering fans who flocked to the campus to catch a glimpse of their idols.

During his visits in Thailand, Cristiano Ronaldo took his time for an interview in Thailand Morning News show. The interview was a bit weird and awkward because not only the interviewer didn’t seem ready with the questions, (their question wasn’t organized at all as it was jumping from personal, football questions, etc ) they were also having the interview in like 4 different languages – Thai, English, Spain, and Portuguese.

It was strange that they asked Ronaldo in all 3 different kind of languages, so Im guessing even Ronaldo was confused by it. They should make up their mind whether they want it to be English interview or Spain, but most of it…. they need to find a better interpreter. Luckily, Ronaldo was smart and chose to answer all questions in English.

Anyway, I just put it together nicely so it won’t be too weird to read, don’t know if it was the right translation of the question (since they asked in Thai, Spain and Portuguese ) , but here it goes :

How’s you holiday ?

“Brilliant. I was in Thailand for 12 days and enjoyed it. The weather is fantastic, the food is good, the people are very nice with me, so I’m very happy and proud to be here “

The interviewer showed picture of Ronaldo and Irina taken with local people, and asked him about the picture.

“They were waiting for me because we have to take off by helicopter, and the people were there. I saw them and I asked them to take picture  because  I think it was amazing, I enjoy a lot, like a family.”

How many island  you have visited ?

“A few. We went to Phi Phi island, where they shot James Bond’s movie and also where Di Caprio onced made the movie. All of it fantastic. The water is warm, I really enjoyed it and someday I will return.”

We saw you fishing. Did you catch any fish?

“Yes, we went fishing. There were so many kind of fish. I also tried fishing with a string, and felt how the fish got the bait. I liked it.

How do you feel About Representing Toyota Product ?

“For me it was a pleasure because it’s a great company. I joined them since 2010, so it’s great. I enjoyed to be part of the successfull company because the champs have to be together. The company is the champ, and I’m champ too.”(smiled)

Ok, now focus on the football. About the Euro 2012 semi-finals, why did you take the last penalty ?

“It’s just the decision. I remembered when I’m in Madrid against Bayern Munich, I also made the first penalty and I lost. So I took the decision to take the shoot on the fifth, but anything can happen. They say why didn’t you shoot the first one, second…or third …it’s just a decision, feelings. The penalty is about lucky, not the best thing wins.”

So it’s your decision to shoot the last ?

“Yes, it was my decision.”

What is your proudest moment in Real Madrid ?

“I think the best moment so far is to win La liga. It’s the most difficult league in the world in my opinion, because our strongest opponent is Barcelona and we won 9 points ahead them, it was fantastic.”

How many goals you have in La liga and the whole season ?

“In the league I scored 46, in total, I don’t know to be honest….”

About Ronaldo, Figo said that he never ceases to surprise by Ronaldo’s desire to improve in every level.

“Every year continues at a high level, showing the quality we have and beating their own numbers. You never know when it will stop. Are signing figures that do not seem real. It has a fantastic team that helps you achieve these numbers, along with its quality, certain to attain more records. ”

At next Sunday, Real Madrid will be having their last league match against Mallorca, where they will close the game in a celebration .

Until now, Cristiano Ronaldo is becoming every football clubs fantasy. Having him on the team is like adding another 4 extra players on the field. England club such as ManCity, AC Milan, and Chelsea always show their interest on the Portuguese player. For those club, money is not a problem to bring the goal machine to their team.

Yet despite all of that, Ronaldo deserves to receive a bigger paycheck, considering his fenomenal contribution for the team.

According to Ecodiario , currently Ronaldo is under contract with Real Madrid until 2015 with a yearly salary of € 12 million. Next season, Perez is considering to raise his salary up to €16 million , where he believes that it could help them to extend the contract with Ronaldo until 2017.

But if it finally happens, Ronaldo still won’t be the highest paid footballer. So far, Samuel Eto’o gets the highest paycheck from Russian club, Anzhi, with a yearly income of €20 million.

Their pictures at Hercules match recently made the speculation about their marriage next year sounds possible. Judging by these pictures, the couple didn’t seems to get annoyed with their pictures taken by the papz.

During her visit to Madrid, for her job as the face of  Spanish clothing line, Cris accompanied her everywhere she goes. But although they looked happy, there are no sign of Cris family. Could it be because of their lack of conversation, (since Dolly can’t speak English or Russia, while Iri doesn’t understand a word in Portuguese) that makes them rarely to be seen together ??

The concert started from 09:30am until 9:00 pm when the Potugal team arrived. There were several entertainment and activities was held, including a concert by Tony Carey. The singer claimed that “Portugal has equal or better players than the other teams, so it is possible to bring the cup.”

Modelo-Continente held a similar event in Lisbon back then in 2009, which made them in three Guinness World Records, for the biggest picnic and ecopoint, and the largest applause.

And yesterday, with 20,000 red balls and the biggest crowd in supporting a national team, they targeted another World Record. Of course, the main attraction was still the Portugal team.

When they arrived, all of them was stood in the stage and cheered the crowd. The crowd was enthusiastic by the chance to reunite with the players.

At the end of the concert, they were distributed over 30 000 balls, which created an atmosphere of festivity, with thousands to kick down the pitch. With the euphoria from the supporters, players have grown in confidence, so that Cristiano Ronaldo added that he believes the selection will have to “go as far as possible.”

From the picnic the squad left straight to the airport. On arrival at the airport, the same environment of euphoria at the farewell of the players. Outside the VIP room, hundreds of people cheered and shouted words of power to “Navigation”.

Next stop will be South-Africa, where Portugal will play a friendly match against Mozambique on June 8th, before the first world cup match against Côte d’Ivoire. Portugal stands in third position on Fifa ranking and is one of the favourite squads to win the title.

The Portuguese playmaker Cristiano Ronaldo, according to one poll, he is the most favorite by the people of South – African World Cup with 17%, followed by Lionel Messi (12%) and Kaka (10%)
