Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo To Receive Win Bonus

Like the rest of his Real Madrid team mates, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to receive win bonuses but this will only come at a huge prize:

CR9 and co have to win La Liga or the UEFA Champions League before they benefit from a huge amount of money.

The decision to grant win bonuses to Real Madrid players came yesterday after the club’s president, Florentino Perez, met with directors Jorge Valdano and Emilio Pardeza.

Real Madrid’s skipper Raul Gonzalez as well as veteran players Guti and Iker Casillas were also part of the meeting to discussed about financial issues – and more precisely about the win bonuses.

AS magazine reported that each player will receive an amount of €575,000 if they manage to win the UEFA Champions League.

Secondly, Los Blancos will also be rewarded with a €350,000 win bonus each should they clinch La Liga trophy this season.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid will come up against Lyon in the last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League in some few days this month. They will meet either AC Milan or Manchester United in the quarter-finals if they get past Lyon.

In La Liga meanwhile, they are five points behind Barcelona as the campaign reaches match-day 21 this weekend. Cristiano Ronaldo will not feature for Real Madrid however, as he has to serve his two-match ban which will end after that.
