Cheer this special moment, clap your hands and get off your seats, Ronaldo is back in the starting line up for Manchester United for the first time this season!
Almost 2000 days have passed since Ronaldo made his debut at 17 for the Reds where he came on as a substitute to help Manchester crash Bolton 4 – 0.
This time, the prolific goal scorer will start and a repeat of history will come at the fans’ delight.
Manchester United needs nothing else than a win to kick start their season and Ronaldo certainly holds the key of this mission. The winger was the man of the match in Manchester United’s last three wins over this side.
His ability to create chances for his teammates and his capability to score came to Manchester United’s benefit. The EPL titleholders were 2 – 0 winners over the Wanderers the last time the two clashed together at Old Trafford. Ronaldo scored both goals, a header and a stunning free kick, in a game where he was one of the only big names on the pitch for the Reds.
Ronaldo will certainly not wear the captain’s armband like he did the last time against Bolton, but his contribution to the squad will surely be enough to help Manchester clinch victory on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds currently lie 15th in the league standings and it is time for Ronaldo to empower them to achieve success.
