Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded the Best International Athlete award at the 22nd edition of the Espy Awards, given out by ESPN. The Madrid man finished ahead of Rafa Nadal, golfer Inbee Park and German F1 driver Sebastian Vettel.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the Ballon D’Or in 2013, won the Décima and Copa del Rey with Real Madrid, and finished the season with 51 goals in 47 games for the Whites.
Last season has been a remarkable year for the Portuguese man and winning the Best International Athlete shows the popularity of the Athlete.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been also shortlisted for the UEFA Best Player in Europe for the 2013/14 Season. Ronaldo can see another main award coming to his way.
