Cristiano Ronaldo along with other top football players got a challenge from a television channel. It has been reported that the players will be tested for their ability in processing the ball in front of an estimated 20,000 fans, right after the World Cup 2010.

The Sun, has quoted that the star player who received this invitation, are Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard, Cesc Fabregas, Wayne Rooney,  David Villa and Didier Drogba.

“This is an event that you’ve never seen before. A number of the world’s best players come together just to test their ability ,” a source from ITV1 stated.

“As you will see after the World Cup later on, they may show their best shot or moves to get past the challenge that will be given to them.” 

The challenge should be held on July 17 at the O2 Arena in London, where every player will be tested in a basic test, such as controlling the ball, kicking , power, as well as scoring ability.

This event has a budget of 10 million pounds from sponsorship, and is expected to be held regularly each year around the world.
