Cristiano Ronaldo might still angry with his disallowed goal over Malaga at Copa del Rey match last Tuesday. In a way, he made it clear by refusing to celebrate his own goal over Granada yesterday.
Ronaldo scored the last goal in Real Madrid 5-1 victory over Granada. But despite looking satisfy and happy with the goal, Ronaldo just walked over and refused to celebrate the goal. He only gave a shake to Altintop who approached him the first time, but without a smile. And later on, when his other team mates, including Xabi Alonso came on to him , he ignored them, and walked away.
The rude gesture creates a lot of question among the press. According to Sergio Ramos, there was nothing wrong with Ronaldo, and everybody is pleased with his performance. But for Karanka, it was Ronaldo’s way to show his anger for the things that didn’t go well.
“Cristiano is a professional, so he may be angry because the things that didn’t go well. Everybody who know him knows his desire to score and help the team, and his gesture after scoring is a way to show his anger, and nothing more. ”
Still, I don’t think it’s a nice way in showing it, especially to your supporting team mates.
