Real Madrid have been putting up better performances in La Liga recently.

Los Blancos are now only two points behind their rivals Barcelona and Cristiano Ronaldo believes that his team will clinch the title at the end of the season.

Speaking to AS, the Portugal captain boldly stated:

“We will win La Liga. Comparing the last few games in La Liga, I think that we are playing better than Barcelona.

“Still, we have to respect them as they remain first.”

Cristiano Ronaldo continued:

“At the moment, we need to think about ourselves. We need to continue doing things well.

“We are confident of our chances of winning La Liga title.”

Many people view April’s El Clasico encounter as the decisive match of the season. But Cristiano Ronaldo prefers to concentrate on the present.

The goal poacher explained:

“The game against Barcelona in our own stadium could be a key encounter. But we’re not think about that match right now.

“We go match by match and we try to improve every day.”

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid thrashed Villarreal 6-2 and Tenerife 5-1 recently in style. The Spanish giants are expected to keep up the good work and to maintain the pressure on Barcelona.
