CD Tenerife vs Real Madrid: Cristiano Ronaldo To Pursue Amazing Form
Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed a successful week after leading Real Madrid to an astonishing 6-2 victory over Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga.
The Portugal captain was in London for a new sponsorship deal with Nike and for the launch of the Mercurial Vapor Superfly II.
But now, the focus will turn back on La Liga as Real Madrid travel away to CD Tenerife with the mission of making the double over their opponents and keeping the pressure at the top of La Liga standings.
Tenerife currently occupy the 19th place in the league; they are willing to fight for survival so they’ll surely try their best to pose a challenge to Real.
Los Blancos meanwhile are on a great run in La Liga; being only two points behind the leaders Barcelona, the chase for the title is still very on.
In general, both Tenerife and Real Madrid will have a lot to play for on Saturday at the Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez stadium.
In the first part of the season, the Spanish giants topped CD Tenerife 3-0 in Madrid with Karim Benzema scoring a brace and Kaka netting the final goal.
For Cristiano Ronaldo, this match saw his record of scoring consecutively in each La Liga match come to an end.
