Captain Cristiano Ronaldo to Score in a Friendly Against Kuwait National Team

Playing against Kuwait National team in a friendly match, Real Madrid is reportedly to received €3 million for appearance fee. Los Blancos, who lowered their first team, succeeded in defeating the host with 2-0 victory.

Real Madrid appeared dominant since the beginning of the match, where both of the goals were created in the first round.

It was Angel di Maria who scored the opening goal through a hard long shot in minute 26th. Ronaldo, who became the captain in the first half, scored the last goal for the team through a header 5 minutes later.

As for Ronaldo, it was a proudest moment for him to be the team’s captain, the first time ever since joining the team in season 2009/10. Jose Mourinho chose him considered his age and seniority in the starting line-up team.

Ronaldo is the second number 7 player to become a captain, following Raul Gonzales footsteps.
