The first leg of Supercopa El Clasico had to end with Barcelona’s victory of 3-2.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the first goal in minute 55th for Real Madrid’s lead, but unfortunately, Pedro quickly equalized the point by scoring a minute later. The next goal belongs to Barcelona as they awarded with a penalty shot after Ramos made a foul on Andres Iniesta. Messi as the executor did his job well.

In the middle of second half, Xavi Hernandez scored the third goal for Barcelona, and all the hope seemed to be fade away. 3-1 for Barcelona’s lead.

But still, Real Madrid won’t give up just yet. Thanks to Angel di Maria persistent moves, he made the last goal 5 minutes before the match ended. Well, of course, the credit goes to Di Maria and Victor Valdes silly blunder.

Against Turkey, Portugal got left behind after Umut Bulut scored the opening goal for Turkey. Trying to equalized the point in the second half, Portugal failed the effort and had to accept Bulut’s second goal.

Luckily, at minute 57th, Portugal managed to score their first goal through Luis Nani.

At minute 68, Portugal actually had a chance to equalize the score after the ref rewarded Miguel Lopes with a penalty kick. Cristiano Ronaldo  got the honor as the executor, but somehow failed to finish the task.

And as if it wasn’t enough, 2 minutes before the match ended, Turkey scored their third goal. It was like a nightmare as Pepe made a suicide goal, that ended the game with 1-3 for Turkey’s victory. Let us hope they can do better this week in the real match.

However, Ronaldo had a bit of history in Champions League penalty kick. On season 2007/08 when he was still with Manchester United, he failed to execute twice.

The first time was at Camp Nou, at Champions League final. ManUtd rewarded with a penalty  after Gabriel Milito caught on a handsball early of the game. At that time, ManUtd still won the Trophy since the match ended with 0-0, while The Red Devils won the first leg of 1-0.

Second time was against Chelsea, also in the Champions League final, where he failed to take the penalty in the extra round. The  situation was similar when he failed against Bayern Munich yesterday.
