Cristiano Ronaldo trained with Portugal team in football field at Opalencia, Poland yesterday. The training opened to public, where the players signed autograph to the crowded fans.

Against Turkey, Portugal got left behind after Umut Bulut scored the opening goal for Turkey. Trying to equalized the point in the second half, Portugal failed the effort and had to accept Bulut’s second goal.

Luckily, at minute 57th, Portugal managed to score their first goal through Luis Nani.

At minute 68, Portugal actually had a chance to equalize the score after the ref rewarded Miguel Lopes with a penalty kick. Cristiano Ronaldo  got the honor as the executor, but somehow failed to finish the task.

And as if it wasn’t enough, 2 minutes before the match ended, Turkey scored their third goal. It was like a nightmare as Pepe made a suicide goal, that ended the game with 1-3 for Turkey’s victory. Let us hope they can do better this week in the real match.

Not a good result to face the Euro 2012 match this week. Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of his Portugal team had to suffer a tragic 1-3 loss over Turkey in a friendly match last Saturday.

This is the third time Portugal received a bad record ahead Euro 2012, after the previous 2 matches ended with a goaless draw over Poland and Macedonia.

The match against Poland was a part of preparation before the Euro 2012, where Portugal entered the “Group of Death” B along with Netherlands, Denmark, and Germany.

“We knew it would be difficult. However, we have to think logically. The group match will be very difficult, but nothing is impossible. We must be sure to win. Mission is possible, but we must remain humble,” added Ronaldo.

To win the group stage, Portugal will also need all the luck they can get, and a much better performance than at yesterday match against Poland.

Cristiano Ronaldo returns to his national Portugal team ahead friendly match against Poland that will take place at National Stadium Warsaw tomorrow. The stadium will also be the place to held the Euro 2012 opening match.

Wearing a new green training kit, Ronaldo joined the team for a training preparation wearing gloves and neck warmer to cover the cold weather in Europe.
