All About Supercopa Clasico – Real Madrid Victory 2-1 Over Barcelona (29 August 2012)

What a good way to start the season for Real Madrid. Yes, their 2 league matches sucks, but who cares . They finally won their first trophy for the season, Supercopa, by defeating Barcelona in the second leg match with a 2-1 score .The victory also stopped Barcelona from winning their Supercopa Trophy for the fourth time.

Jose Mourinho should be proud of the boys, since this is practically the first time in Cristiano Ronaldo’s era that Barcelona gets eaten alive for almost the whole 90 minutes by Real Madrid. I’ve never seen Victor Valdes running around like crazy throughout the game, and couldn’t catch his breath because he had to work extra.

For captain Iker Casillas, he did a fantastic job by making at least 3-4 important saves. However, he barely sweats in the first half.

Of course, praise goes to Gonzalo Higuain who did an amazing opening goal in minute 11th, that helped boosting the team’s spirit. Followed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal, 8 minutes later. And after that, the whole field was like a play ground for Real Madrid, as their counter-attack scheme worked amazingly well. 2-0 in Real Madrid’s lead in just 20 minutes.

However, Messi almost ruined the glory after he scored for Barcelona at the end of first half. Although I have to admit, it was actually a brilliant free-kick goal.

Still, Barcelona find it hard to play with only 10 men after Adriano got a red in just minute 28th for his brutal foul on Ronaldo. They need more than just a help from the referee.

Enough said…. Let’s just skipped to the end of the match, since both Real Madrid and Barcelona didn’t score a goal in the second leg.

After a long 45 minutes plus 3 minutes of extra time, the match ended with 2-1, with Real Madrid’s name as the winner.

It was a good game, and Real Madrid have won it fair and square. Hala Madrid !!

Ahead of their four pre-season friendlies in the United States this summer, Real Madrid will hold an ‘open’ training session at the UCLA campus on August 4th. It’s only ‘open’, however, if you are willing to pay for the privilege of watching Xabi Alonso stretch. Last year’s UCLA training session was closed to the public, but Los Blancos have now decided to captilize on Californians with an insatiable appetite for seeing millionaires run around cones, charging fans up to $382 for a VIP pass. Marca explains what that package includes: In addition to giving you a seat in a covered area, the VIP pass includes the opportunity to meet Real Madrid players after training and be photographed with the Casillas, Ronaldo and co. The lucky VIP will also enjoy a continental breakfast at the training facilities chosen by Madrid. Nearly 400 bones for a cold breakfast at a university campus? If it isn’t prepared by Sergio Ramos and fed spoonful-by-spoonful by Mesut Ozil while Jose Mourinho gives out massages, that’s not particularly good value. The cheapest tickets for the event will be $85, which is around $85 more than any other European club has ever had the audacity to charge their fans to watch a training session.

This 2 couple are not alone. They were double dating with Iker Casillas, also with girlfriend Sara Carbonero.

Real Madrid Next Preseason Match Against Hercules Alicante Will be Minus 5 Players, Including Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid will play their preseason match this Sunday (22/8) against Hercules Alicante. But having ten days to start the League, Mourinho has decided to give it rest for Cristiano Ronaldo, Casillas, Higuain, Xabi Alonso, and probably Ramos aswell.

They are players who had a fewer days off, and have to get their batteries charge for facing the first competition this season. Mou wants them to be in a good condition, since those five are important players for the squad.

Sergio Ramos and Casillas has played 228 minutes between, while Xabi has played 207 minutes. The three, apart from Real Madrid, had to travel to Mexico to play for the national team.

Higuain already played for 196 minutes, and even though Cristiano didn’t play with Portugal early this season, he has already played for 264 minutes.

Looks like this upcoming match will be the first appearance for Mesut Ozil as one of the Whites player.

The Spanish Club football players take advantage of the few days off before they joins their respective national teams for World Cup. With less than a month before the championship starts, just around the corner, there are those who did not want to waste their time and are heading to their favorite destination, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, and Casillas.

Cristiano Ronaldo always have a soft spot for beach and the blue sea. On his first day off, he took a private plane in Madrid on Monday to enjoy three days on the island of Corsica. It hasn’t been reported about the person who joins him for companionship, as he spends sailing on a boat going around the island.

For lionel Messi, he was seen at Port Aventura with his family, but couldn’t go unnoticed and he attracts fans for an autograph signing, as he had to pull over his vehicle.

Casillas on the other hand, has chosen to stay in Spain, where his family lives. He was taking his girlfriend, Sara Carbonero in a short holiday to Avila, to meet his grandparents. Later in June, the beautiful TV presenter will be travel with Tele 5 to cover World Cup 2010 games where her boyfriend also played.
