Ronaldo is on the good track

Cristiano Ronaldo is increasing his goal tally this season. The winger scored a brace in Manchester’s 4 – 3 win against Hull City at Old Trafford.

This means that Ronaldo has now scored in nine consecutive home matches since last season. Ronaldo has 6 goals in the league, 7 in all competitions and he is yet to score in the Champions League.

There is still a long way to go for him to hit 42 goals and as Ferguson believes, many think this will be impossible.

But Ronaldo is very much confident about smashing his own record:

“I know it’s very difficult to score 42 goals again,” he admitted, “but I believe in myself and in my colleagues.

“I’m training the same and I hope to do the same or better.”

Ronaldo will certainly feature in Manchester United’s clash away to Celtic and he will have the chance to start the defence of his European Top Scorer crown.
