On earlier interview, Cristiano Ronaldo was asked about the last match against Israel, also about his decision to stay with the team.

“I want to stay with the team and support them. I’m sad after the last game, and want to stay to give contribution for the team. The last game was a huge mistake which can’t be repeated, but I still think positive and we can still make it. It’s a difficult task but it’s not impossible”
