Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t hide his disappointment following the 1-1 draw against Barcelona on the second leg Champions league semi-finals match yesterday. The draw result has made Real Madrid eliminated for Champions League final, with score aggregate 3-1 from the host, Barcelona.

“We knew we could beat Barca, but the referee didn’t let us,”said Ronaldo.

“Once again it was the referee that didn’t allow us to dictate the outcome,” he added.

“The referee in the first match (Wolfgang Stark) took away our chances of playing the final. Whoever knows anything about football knows that Barcelona get preferential treatment.”
