Manchester United coaches spotted in Portugal watching Ronaldo

Manchester United coaches Phil Neville and Steve Round watched Cristiano Ronaldo in action last night, as Portugal took on Robin van Persie’s Holland side.

And, according to the Mail Online, United are continuing to monitor the former World Player of the Year.

Ronaldo, who scored a late equaliser for the Portuguese last night, left Old Trafford for Real Madrid four years ago, and could yet make an incredible return back to the Red Devils.

The No.7 shirt is currently vacant at Old Trafford after Antonio Valencia reverted back to his old No.25 shirt and United are desperate to land a marquee signing for David Moyes this summer.

And despite Real Madrid president Florentino Perez certain that the 28-year-old will end his career in Spain, Ronaldo himself continues to be coy over his future.

The Real Madrid star has yet to extend his contract at the Bernabeu and while his future remains uncertain, United fans will stay hopeful that the return of Ronaldo can happen.
