Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is still firm in his belief that Cristiano Ronaldo will be at Old Trafford next season.

Ferguson has been disappointed by Ronaldo’s comments regarding his future with Manchester but is keen on keeping his prize asset despite the ongoing speculation that Ronaldo wants to leave.

It has led high ranking officials from Manchester to say that the Real Madrid speculation was nothing but a “seven day wonder” and that all uncertainty regarding a move away from Old Trafford will be forgotten by the time Ronaldo returns for pre-season training next month.
