Cristiano Ronaldo is on the sidelines for Manchester United. He will remain out there until he recovers entirely from his ankle operation.

The young man revealed his frustration over this annoying situation and his worries do not end just there.

The newly crowned European king had to watch from afar the rest of his teammates being defeated 2 – 1 by UEFA Cup winners Zenith St Petersburg on Friday night in Monaco.

The Red Champion’s consolation came through defender Nemanja Vidic, meaning that Manchester United’s strikers have failed to find the back of the net for the third consecutive time since the beginning of this season.

The Red Devils have been playing attractive football but their inability to create chances and score have come as a bitter punishment. Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence is a big blow to the club who needs more creativity in front of goal.

Anti-Manchester United supporters may interpret Ronaldo’s injury as a curse on these “arrogant fat cats” as some people are calling them.

Whether this thought reveals the truth or not, fans of the reigning EPL and Champions League titleholders are just hopping their squad’s loss in the European Super Cup is not the prelude of a disastrous campaign.
