Manchester United’s talisman, Super Ronaldo, could be back for the Reds much sooner than expected. Fergie’s side are yet to rise from their current embarrassing situation of which Ronaldo’s absence seems to be the true cause.
In a press conference after Man United’s loss to bitter rivals Liverpool, Alex Ferguson insisted that his squad was not psychologically affected by the negative outcome of that important fixture.
In reality, though Fergie may be speaking the truth, there is no doubt that Ronaldo’s return would hugely boost the confidence of other players in the team like Ferdinand or Rooney.
The Big Boys have two difficult consecutive fixtures this week. They start the defence of their Champions League trophy on Wednesday with a game against the Spanish club Villareal. They will then clash against Chelsea on Saturday.
Reports claim that Ronaldo could feature for his club in both encounters. Who knows, he perhaps holds the key to success?
However, as a result of his behaviour during the transfer saga, fans of the red side of Manchester now look to be disgusted with the Portuguese Star. Manchester United supporters would love to see the squad progressing without needing the services of “uncommitted Ronaldo†as many are calling him.
The winger, presently on the sidelines, is yet to prove how much he is loyal to the Reds, as he declared in an interview a month ago.
“I will do my best and once I put on the Manchester United shirt, the fans will love me again,†Ronaldo stated.
Ronaldo might have been the most disrespectful player this summer but now, he looks determined to pay back for everything he may have done to anyone.
Why should the fans not accept his excuses?
