Cristiano Ronaldo attended the Marca Football Awards held at the Galeria de Cristal del Palacio de Cibeles, where he received the Alfredo Di Stefano Trophy for Best Player. The Trophy was handed to the Portuguese forward from Di Stefano himself, along with Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Perez.

“It is an honour to receive this award from Alfredo. I want to thank him and all who chose me,”said Ronaldo.

When asked about the season’s, he said: “There is still a lot to play for because we have to play the cup final and we are still in the Champions League. Winning La Liga will be tough, but it will be possible right to the end”.

As for Jose Mourinho, he has been awarded the Miguel Munoz Trophy for the best coach in the last league season..
