Cristiano Ronaldo becomes Sporting Lisbon’s 100,000th member

Cristiano Ronaldo was honoured by Portuguese side Sporing Lisbon this week as the club announced that the Real Madrid forward had become their 100,000th member.

Ronaldo played for Lisbon from 1996-2003, and the former Sporting apprentice had his membership made public before Sunday’s match against Nacional on the club’s Jumbotron.

Sporting released a Ronaldo video on their big screen before kick-off, which included several highlight of Cristiano’s most famous moments during his time with the Portuguese giants.
