Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo, has told his team to not underestimate Cyprus in the Euro 2012 qualifier tomorrow (2/9). Followed by a surprising draw 4-4 result on the first leg last  year with Cyprus, Ronaldo said that Cyprus is not a weak team.

“We have undergone many developments. However, it won’t be easy (to steal points) and make the same mistakes as it did at the first meeting. Goals that we will create later in the game will keep us on top of the standings,” explained Ronaldo.

“We don’t see Cyprus as a weak team. They stole two points from us,” continued the Real Madrid player.

Portugal now collect 10 points, the same score with Norway. However, with more goals on Portugal side, Ronaldo’s team deserves to be on the top standings of Group H.
