Cristiano Ronaldo believes his current form could possibly be the best of his career and feels he may be at his peak.
The Real Madrid striker also told of his unrelenting ambition after being presented with Marca’s Pichichi and Alfredo di Stefano awards for La Liga top scorer and best player last season.
“To pick up these awards again next year would be good as it is a sign I’ve performed well,” he told the audience.
“My aim is to win things both with the team and individually so I work hard towards that, but everyone has their own way of thinking and working.
“Playing football is what I enjoy most and I try to do my best. I’ll never tire of winning things. Maybe I’m at my peak but I always attempt to do better than the year before,” said Ronaldo, who could not hide his delight at the way things have been going at Madrid this season.
“I’m happy, the team is doing well, and we’re improving. My assists and goal statistics are not too bad and I want to continue learning,” he added.
