Zinedine Zidan Thinks Cristiano Ronaldo Is “Phenomenal” And Better Than Him

Cristiano Ronaldo enjoyed a good night with Real Madrid at the Stade Vélodrome, scoring two goals to polish an entertaining performance which was characterized by lovely tricks and pace.

The Portuguese superstar was playing in Marseille – Zinedine Zidane’s place of birth – and he apparently captivated the attention of the French legend who was watching him from the stands.

After the match, Zinedine Zidan singled out Cristiano Ronaldo and praised him. He declared:

“Cristiano isn’t just good. He is phenomenal. He does even better things than I used to do.”

Zinedine Zidan ended his club football career at the Santiago Bernabeu and he tasted glory, fame, and experience.
The World Cup winning midfielder certainly knows much about the characteristics that shape a player into a legend.

His admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo might not just be a simple impression.

Perhaps, Zinedine Zidan is already tipping Cristiano Ronaldo as his successor instead of Brazil’s playmaker Ricardo Kaka.
