Real Madrid vs Barcelona – El Clasico: Cristiano Ronaldo Says No 6-2 Revenge

Cristiano Ronaldo has made things clear to the media.

The Portugal captain has stated that Real Madrid won’t be playing against Barcelona in El Clasico with the ambition of avenging the 6-2 defeat which the club suffered at the Santiago Bernabeu back in May 2009.

In a simple explanation, Cristiano Ronaldo compared last year’s 6-2 encounter with the upcoming Clasico.

He said:

“They are different matches with different players. We don’t feel the need for revenge.”

Real Madrid, who currently head La Liga table, are hungry for success and very much aware of Barcelona’s potential.

“We are very conscious that this game can decide La Liga. We are desperate to win the match.”

Let’s see if Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid can overturn the 1-0 loss which they suffered in the hands of Barcelona at the Camp Nou in November last year.
