Real Madrid vs Barcelona: Cristiano Ronaldo Says ‘Keep Scoring Messi, But Not In El Clasico’

Lionel Messi has imposed himself at the center of attraction in the world of football and he has been gaining a lot of praises. His rival, Cristiano Ronaldo, wishes him well too.

But ahead of El Clasico between his club Real Madrid and Barcelona, Ronaldo hopes that Lionel Messi won’t be score a single goal.

The Argentine play maker actually netted 4 goals against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday to take his tally to 8 goals in Europe this season. He eventually surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo’s 7-goal record in the Champions League and he is set to win the top scorer award among many other accolades again.

In an interview after a training session on Thursday, Cristiano Ronaldo commentated on Lionel Messi, saying:

“I hope that Messi continues to score goals… but not on Saturday. ”

Lionel Messi has scored 6 goals in all against Real Madrid in his career and with the red-hot form that he currently possesses, he is poised to create damage again for Barcelona against Los Blancos in El Clasico. Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, is yet to score a single goal against Barcelona and he will be affronting them for the fifth time this weekend.
