Real Madrid 3-2 Atletico Madrid: It Wasn’t Cristiano Ronaldo’s Night.

Clearly, it wasn’t Cristiano Ronaldo’s best night when Real Madrid faced Atletico Madrid in La Liga,Β at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday night.

Cristiano missed an easy chance to score in the first half.

Alonso gave him a perfect cross which he should have finished off with a cool header since he was left unmarked in the penalty area.

But surprisingly, he failed to net the ball; from there, he despair seemed to have caught him.

Not only that, his trade-mark free-kicks didn’t appear on a good results.

He looked frustrated each time he couldn’t get a pass despite being unmarked in front of goal. It seemed that the other players didn’t work well with him as a team.

Even his last chance to clinch an assist failed; that’s when he kicked the ball hard and straight to Raul who should have done better by converting the cross in a goal.

Overall, the Portuguese player had the chance to show his best, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t his night.

Oh! A missed opportunity to catch up on Messi, Villa, and Higuain in the top scorers chart. πŸ™ But anyways, the three points are the most important.
