Young soccer players got the opportunity to play with Cristiano Ronaldo and other Real Madrid players at UCLA yesterday (5 August 2010), hosted by Adidas.
Those youngsters can only be speechless with the experience afterwards, knowing that it was a chance of a life time to meet with the Spanish Giants. They even couldn’t control their excitement afterwards. In the background after the match, each players bragged about the autographs that they had gotten from El Real superstars.
But one youngster in particular had the most to brag about, putting one past Real midfielder Rafael Van der Vaart who was improvising as ‘keeper for his side. The day’s most memorable moment immediately followed.
Real defender Marcelo immediately ran over to congratulate the youngster and lifted him up over his shoulder. Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and others would quickly join in on the celebration and collectively lifted him up in the air. No doubt it was a royal treatment for the lucky youngster.
Tomorrow, Real Madrid will practice at UCLA one final time before their Saturday match up against the L.A. Galaxy at the Rose Bowl. It will be their final match of their 2010 U.S. tour.
