The Portuguese superstar showed off the shiny golden award to coach Carlo Ancelotti and his team-mates after seeing off competition from Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer to win the world’s best player crown for a third time.
He was joined by James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos and Sergio Ramos, who also had silverware to show off after Monday night’s glittering ceremony in Zurich, Switzerland.
Colombian star Rodriguez won the Puskas Award for best goal following his sensational strike against Uruguay at the World Cup last summer.

Ramos and Kroos, meanwhile, were named in the FIFA FIFPro World XI for 2014 along with Angel di Maria, who moved from Real to Manchester United over the summer.
Despite leading Real to their elusive 10th European Cup success, Ancelotti missed out on the coach of the year award which went to German World Cup-winner Joachim Low.
Ronaldo, 29, was the hot favourite to claim the main prize after an outstanding 2014 that saw him score 61 goals for club and country, provid 22 assists and claim nine club and individual honours.
He played an integral part as Real won the Champions League, rounding off a 4-1 win over city rivals Atletico Madrid in May’s Lisbon final.
Real also won the Copa del Rey, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Averaging a goal every 62 minutes in La Liga during the calendar year of 2014, Ronaldo also claimed the top scorer trophy.
Cristiano Ronaldo collected the 3rd Golden Shoe of his career on Wednesday and showed his appreciation for his team-mates’ efforts by bringing the award into training on Thursday.
Ronaldo posed with the trophy and the entire Real Madrid squad in a great photograph taken by the club.
When he picked up the award, the Portugal international said: ”I would like to thank my teammates for their help because without it, it wouldn’t have been possible to win this Golden Shoe.”
The Real Madrid star was recognised after scoring 31 Liga goals last season, meaning he shares the award with Barcelona’s Luis Suarez, who matched his total while still with Liverpool.

The Portugal captain is believed to have become disillusioned with life in Spain after the club allowed Xabi Alonso and Angel di Maria to leave in the summer.
Widespread reports have claimed that Ronaldo would be open to returning to Old Trafford following his departure back in 2009.
However, Ancelotti has insisted that the 29-year-old, who won the Ballon d’Or in January, is ”happy” playing for the European champions.
”These are words without meaning.” FourFourTwo quotes Ancelotti as saying. ”I believe [the] reports are nonsense. Cristiano is happy here, very motivated to be here, and all Madridismo is delighted with him.
”Ronaldo [has] great professionalism, leadership, we must enjoy him and do everything to keep him in this physical and mental condition. Without doubt Ronaldo is the best player in the world. We are lucky he plays for us. We have to enjoy it.”
Reports have claimed that it would cost £200m in fees and wages for United to bring Ronaldo back to the Premier League.

Carlo Ancelotti has dismissed talk of a rest for Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of Real Madrid’s game with Elche.
The Italian plans to rotate his squad in the coming weeks, starting with Tuesday’s game, but has for the moment ruled out including Ronaldo as part of that.
“Cristiano has no need to rest right now. He’s in top form and also in great physical shape and mental condition. We need him at the top of his game right now,” Ancelotti told in a Press conference.
The former Manchester United star has sometimes played wide on the right in recent matches, although Ancelotti insists he has the freedom to operate where he feels most comfortable.
“It’s only a temporary situation as Cristiano has to have the freedom to do what comes naturally to him on the pitch.
“If we need him to play on the right then that’s good because the change in position means our attacking play becomes more unpredictable.”
The 55-year-old also commented on the tactical changes he implemented in the stunning 8-2 away win at Deportivo la Coruna over the weekend, where Asier Illarramendi was introduced to offer more speed on the counter-attack.
“We have other options but our philosophy is to mix the game up and control it even more. After what happened [in the 4-2 defeat] at Anoeta I decided our defence needed more protection.
“We have a great squad and it isn’t easy because everyone wants to play. However, the lads are very professional, respect the referee’s decisions and are always ready to play 20 minutes or however long we need,” he explained.

Cristiano Ronaldo is available to play for Real Madrid in Monday’s La Liga opener, manager Carlo Ancelotti says, despite the injuries that have plagued the winger all summer.
The Ballon d’Or winner struggled with tendinosis while playing for Portugal at the World Cup, then a muscle strain prevented him in playing 90 minutes in either leg of the Spanish Super Cup this week.
However, Ancelotti revealed in a news conference on Sunday that Ronaldo would be ready to face Cordoba, calling any injuries that remain ”minor annoyances.”
The Real Madrid boss blamed Ronaldo‘s persistant hobbles on the team’s busy preseason. Ronaldo accompanied the team on its tour of the United States and faced Manchester United on Aug. 2, then scored twice in the UEFA Super Cup in Wales on Aug. 12, before also scoring against Fiorentina in Poland four days later.Cristiano Ronaldo has had a whirlwind preseason, but he should be available to play on Monday as La Liga begins.
”He’s had this problem because his preseason was not very regular,” Ancelotti said.
”He needed individual work to solve the problem with his tendon, which is very well solved because there’s no trouble with it anymore. And that was the most important thing.”
After opening the La Liga season at home on Monday, Real travel north to face Real Sociedad the following Sunday.
”Next week we have a whole week to train and we have to make the most of it,” Ancelotti said. ”It will be good for [Ronaldo] to work to improve his conditioning.”
