Filed Under Man Utd, Personal, Premiership | Leave a Comment
Manchester United started the defense of their title of Sunday at home to Newcastle. With up to nine players out of the squad, young players like Campbell and the Da Silva brothers were given the chance to show themselves.
Man United had the better of the game, but when several key players are missing such as Ronaldo, finding the path to victory is a bit difficult.
In the opening minutes of the game, Man United had a clear appeal on penalty – which Ronaldo would have taken should he have been able to play. However, Newcastle benefited of the referee’s favour to escape from trouble.
The home side was awarded many free kicks Read more

Following everything that happened during the transfer saga, Manchester United fans as well as football critics are wondering about Ronaldo’s commitment to the English champions.
Although the player has stated in an interview that he will play for United with all his heart and soul, he still intends to join Real in the near future.
However, above all the speculations over a Ronaldo move to Spain, the Man United boss Alex Ferguson is highly confident that the 23-year-old Portuguese will play for his club with the same devotion he had last season.
The English Premier League titleholders are even planning to extend Ronaldo’s contract according to reports.
Now, Manchester United’s concern is not about Real Madrid as regards to Ronaldo’s commitment. The Red Devils’ main problem is that Ronaldo presently focuses more on dating hot ladies rather than on playing soccer. Read more

Watch out Ferguson, Ronaldo could leave next summer
Filed Under Man Utd, Personal, Transfer | Leave a Comment
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is certainly relishing his victory against Real Madrid in this transfer saga. Congratulations to the old Scottish man who can now write his name in history, as he is the first to win a transfer case against the Spanish giants.
Unfortunately for Fergie, this sweet relief will not last long…
Ronaldo earlier revealed in his interview with the Portuguese media Publico that he still has the dream of playing for Madrid one day. It is understood that Ronaldo’s decision is to remain in Manchester for only one more year.
Reports claim that the Star winger told his friends in Real that he will do whatever it takes to join the Spanish club in the 2009/10 season.
Real Madrid may use the same tactic they applied to have Figo from Barcelona. And if Ferguson wants to prevent Los Meringues from signing the talismanic number 7 next summer, there is no doubt that the manager will have to use money as his main instrument to captivate Ronaldo’s mind. Read more

Ferguson, a good father to Ronaldo?
Filed Under Man Utd, Personal | Leave a Comment
During the transfer saga, most football analysts negatively translated Alex Ferguson’s resilience of keeping Ronaldo at Old Trafford. Many shared the opinion that if Fergie was so persistent, it was all because of the fear that Man United’s moments of glory might end should Ronaldo leave.
Well, Ferguson kept on fighting for the young man to stay in England and even went on to state as an argument that there was no place other than Manchester United, where Ronaldo could enjoy success as well as affection.
Whichever purpose was the truth, the manager has well defended himself towards the media and the public.
He is presently reacting as a good father to Ronaldo rather than as a “slave master.” The boss has made it clear that he was not going to rush the Star winger to play active football. Since the end of July, Alex had been worrying about Ronaldo’s injury. Read more

Manchester United supporters, Ronaldo needs you
Filed Under Man Utd, Personal | 3 Comments
Ronaldo may win games for the Reds when he comes back from injury, but will he win the fans? Cristiano Ronaldo is once again the subject of criticism in England as he was two years ago following the infamous story of Rooney’s red card at the World Cup.
The last time around, his amazing progress in terms of performance – which helped Fergie to grab his first league title in four years – enabled him to win over Manchester United fans.
Now, it seems that supporters will not give him a second chance – in other words, be impressed by the controversial number 7, even if he carries United to football glory.
Arrogant, undisciplined, unfaithful, greedy, and selfish are the words that Manchester United fans employ to describe Ronaldo. Is their judgement towards the 23-year-old superstar right? Aren’t they committing a mistake and reacting cruelly towards him? Read more

Ronaldo not to be in Spain this summer – Is Calderon a liar?
Filed Under Man Utd, Personal, Transfer | Leave a Comment
Has anything made more noise than the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga this summer? This story generated so many points of views, suggestions, suppositions, and rumours and in a whole, so many debates.
Now… the soap opera is over, finally! It seems Ramon Calderon – who described himself as a ‘spectator’ – has now ‘switched off his TV’ and almost forgotten about the soap opera’s leading character, Cristiano Ronaldo .
Calderon declared that Rafael Van der Vaart was probably their last signing of the summer and that should the Dutch man impress, then the Spanish giants will stop their chase for Ronaldo.
He affirmed that it was their desire not to bring in too many players. In the last two years, the Castilians had already transferred 19 good young players to their club. Read more

What a pity for Nereida! Letizia Filippi is captivating Ronaldo’s mind. If only Nereida had predicted the consequences of a simple dinner…
It all started one week before Ronaldo split up with her. The three – Nereida, Letizia, and Cristiano – had dinner on a yacht. At that time, Cristiano was Nereida’s boyfriend and Letizia had a man. Certainly, this is the reason why Nereida saw nothing “risky” with having lunch with Ronnie and the 30 year old model Letizia Filippi.
However, Cristiano is a young man easily seduced by beautiful brunettes. Age seems to be of no importance as Letizia is seven years older than him. Nereida should have remembered that Cristiano was just 20 years old when he dated the 32-year-old Spanish star Mercedes Romero. Read more

‘Everyone is looking at you’, dirty Ronaldo
Filed Under Personal | 9 Comments
Everyone is looking at you are the five words Cristiano Ronaldo is supposed to tell Letizia Filippi to make her feel loved. Ironically, this is what the media is telling the Portuguese star.
During his summer holidays, the icon has been behaving in a way that has disgusted many football lovers and even more his ex-girlfriend Nereida Gallardo. It looks like Ronaldo has been making a collection of hot brunettes. It is believed the womanizer took at least four ladies to his hotel room in Los Angeles back in July – which came much to the fury of Gallardo.
Well, as some men will think, these girls are just party animals with whom Ronaldo did not intend to create a serious relationship. Read more

Is Letizia Filippi random play or Cristiano’s girlfriend of choice?

Nereida; Dumped and Broken
Filed Under Personal | 11 Comments
Did Ronaldo react too harshly towards Nereida Gallardo when he broke up with her for good?
The Spanish model was one of the numerous girls Ronaldo has dated who had a big impact on Ronaldo’s private and professional life.
According to rumours, Ronaldo’s friends and family appreciated Nereida unlike Mercedes Romero – whom Ronaldo once planed to marry.
In terms of devotion, she certainly gave 100% of herself to Cristiano as she even went on to tattoo “CR7” on the inside of her wrist to honour her boyfriend’s name and lucky number.
Moreover, it is believed that she never duped Ronaldo during their relationship.
For those of you who are unaware of Nereida’s secret, the first question is probably, ‘Why did Ronaldo break up with such an angel?’ Read more

Queiros left, why not Ronaldo?
Filed Under Personal | Leave a Comment
This summer is certainly Alex Ferguson’s toughest moment in his career. In his entire 21 years as the manager of Manchester United, the best thing – arguably – that has ever happened to him was the arrival of two Portuguese: Carlos Queiros and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Since the death of his father in 2005, Ronaldo adopted the former Portuguese boss as his new daddy. And whether it is a coincidence or not, it was only then that Man United’s number 7 rose, transforming his youth talent into a professional footballer performance – scoring in the process 23 goals in the 2006/07 season and 42 last season.
If Carlos Queiros indeed played a major role in inspiring and guiding the winger to these prowesses, it is quite understandable that Ronaldo might see no reason why he should stay at Old Trafford to honour his contract since Queiros himself is no more in England. Read more

She said that her boyfriend had phoned her in the morning and that he sounded sweet and kind as always. She added that he even told her the three words ‘I love you’ and that she replied the same to him.

Cristiano Ronaldo is perhaps the most unsettled player at the moment in Europe. In terms of decision, it is clear that he wants to quit England as quickly as possible. But his fate is not in his hands only. And besides all the embarrassment caused by Manchester United’s resilience to keep him in the club, Ronaldo also needs to face the challenge of his injury worries:

More than Clear

Cristiano Ronaldo has done probably everything he can in his power to move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.
Rumours claim that he reported his current club to Fifa – describing the situation in which he stands as ‘modern slavery’.
Whether these rumours are true or false, Sepp Blatter employed the term ‘slavery’ over the transfer saga issue, which has consequently provoked intense debates.
Ronaldo has been the subject of huge criticism following what many call “disgusting conduct” towards the English Champions.
However, as much as boos don’t stop Ronaldo from performing well, those critics won’t change his mind and decision. Read more

Ronaldo’s transfer saga seems to be a world of war and confusion made of three pillars: The “Great Spanish Giants” Real Madrid, the “English Resistance” Manchester United with in between, the “King of the EPL” Cristiano Ronaldo.
Apparently, this world has taken a new dimension, from soccer issues to celebrity gossips. Is there someone who can influence Ronaldo to stay in England more than Nereida Gallardo?
Well, the summer transfer window is not yet closed so the answer to this question is still a debate. But something which is a reality is that Ronaldo’s girlfriend Nereida is doing all she can to prevent Ronaldo from signing for Real - in other words, from going to Spain and to Madrid especially. Let Ronaldo go
Filed Under Personal | 2 Comments
Fifa President Sepp Blatter has accused Manchester United of “enslaving” Cristiano Ronaldo.
He stated on Thursday that “slavery” is too common in modern football and that therefore, Fifa should start finding a solution to this controversy.
Not every member of the Governing Body sided with Blatter’s comments; there’s an argument that players deserve to respect their club and that moreover, the word “slave” only applies to an unpaid worker unlike a footballer. Read more
