Real Madrid have tradition to have a meet and greet session before the away match, where 2 of their players will sign autograph or taking pictures with the fans.

And before Malaga match, the players on duty were Cristiano Ronaldo and Fabio Coentrao.

The fans were lucky to have their time with their idols.

Cristiano Ronaldo Refused Goal Celebration Over Granada

ronaldoCristiano Ronaldo might still angry with his disallowed goal over Malaga at Copa del Rey match last Tuesday. In a way, he made it clear by refusing to celebrate his own goal over Granada yesterday.

Ronaldo scored the last goal in Real Madrid 5-1 victory over Granada. But despite looking satisfy and happy with the goal, Ronaldo just walked over and refused to celebrate the goal. He only gave a shake to Altintop who approached him the first time, but without a smile. And later on, when his other team mates, including Xabi Alonso came on to him , he ignored them, and walked away.

The rude gesture creates a lot of question among the press. According to Sergio Ramos, there was nothing wrong with Ronaldo, and everybody is pleased with his performance. But for Karanka, it was Ronaldo’s way to show his anger for the things that didn’t go well.

”Cristiano is a professional, so he may be angry because the things that didn’t go well. Everybody who know him knows his desire to score and help the team, and his gesture after scoring is a way to show his anger, and nothing more. ”

Still, I don’t think it’s a nice way in showing it,  especially to your supporting team mates.

cristiano ronaldoWith a 5-1 victory over Granada last night, Real Madrid secured their place in La liga standings. Now they are 6 points ahead rival Barcelona, who will face Espanyol tonight.

Karim Benzema scored 2 goals on the match, while Ramos, Higuain, and Cristiano Ronaldo each scored 1 goal.

Although Madrid recorded a big win over Granada, it didn’t mean they made it easy. Infact, Mourinho squad had difficulties to break the opponents defense in the first half.

It was Benzema who open the score for Real Madrid at minute 19th, but 3 minutes later, Granada managed to equalize the point through Mikel Rico’s header.  Luckily, Sergio Ramos saved Real Madrid and doubled the score. 2-1 for Real Madrid until the break.

The first open training this year for Real Madrid. The fans were allowed to watch their favorite team doing training session at Alfredo di Stefano Stadium last Friday (6/1). Some of the players, including Cristiano Ronaldo even signed autograph for the lucky fans afterwards.

irina and crA day before her birthday, Cristiano Ronaldo took Irina to watch basketball match between Real Madrid vs Barcelona at Palacio de los Deportes. The couple was busy with each other at first, but then got more interested to the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo Will Miss Balon D’Or Ceremony at Zurich

cristiano ronaldoCristiano Ronaldo is reported to miss the Balon D’Or ceremony that will be held next Monday in Zurich.

Besides Ronaldo, Mourinho, Casillas , Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos also reported to miss the event. The reason is because on Tuesday Real Madrid will be facing Malaga for the Copa del Rey second leg match. And based on the first leg match result, it seems that Mourinho won’t be taking chances to fly to Zurich, and to risk the players condition for the game on the next day.

cr v malagaLeave behind with 2 points in the first half, Real Madrid managed to close the first leg match against Malaga with a 3-2 victory.

Real Madrid’s 3 goals were created on the second half, through Sami Khedira, Gonzalo Higuain, and Karim Benzema. Cristiano Ronaldo actually almost contributed a goal in minute 90th from a fantastic bicycle kick. However, the goal later got disallowed by the ref after Ronaldo was offside before the kick.
