Ronaldo is back!

Cristiano Ronaldo officially received the Golden Boot Award for being last season’s EPL top scorer with 31 goals in 34 appearances.

And the PFA Player of the Year marked his title with two goals against the Hammers.

Ronaldo wins FIFPro Footballer of the Year Award

Cristiano Ronaldo has added yet another award to his room of trophies. The European Best Player of the Year lifted the FIFPro Award for the first time in his career!

Aafter earning the highest number of the votes, he was clearly delighted about his achievement:

”To be recognised by my fellow professional players worldwide coming from over 50,000 players is amazing,” the Portugal winger said.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who self-estimates himself, did not forget to thank the people as well:

The saga is over ‘forever’, what’s on Ronaldo’s mind?

Calderon made it clear on Friday. Real Madrid’s hunt for Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo is finally over.

The Spanish Giants have dismissed all claims that their club will engage in a new fight come January or any other transfer window to lure Ronaldo out of Old Trafford.

Calderon finally admitted defeat in the transfer saga, declaring that his club had good relations with Manchester United’s David Gill, which he would not want to damage.

Cris eyes 95th Manchester United goal

Cristiano Ronaldo is yet to be at his best this season since returning from injury. This weekend’s game against Everton could be the perfect fixture for Ronaldo to score his 95th Man United goal.

The Portuguese Superstar will be fit enough to feature against Moyes’ side despite suffering a foul in Tuesday’s Champions League encounter..

Ronaldo was the man of match the last time the Reds played the Merseyside Blues, scoring twice with a lovely left footed curving strike and a late bullet penalty to clinch all three points.

The winger will hope to do more of the same this time around.

Ronaldo convinced about winning the Ballon d’Or

Champions League winner and European top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo is confident about winning the prestigious French award, the Ballon d’Or.

“I don’t see any rival. I feel pretty relaxed,” Ronaldo was quoted as saying. The Manchester United Star, indeed, has won everything a player could wish for in club competition.

Torres and Messi who both finished last season being cupless are hot contenders for the title. However, popular votes show Cristiano Ronaldo has the clear winner by large margin.

The Portuguese Star, widely regarded as the king of soccer for the 2007/08 season in Italy, is part of the list of 30 players nominated for the Ballon d’Or that will officially be handed out on December 2nd.

Cristiano gaining match fitness

Cristiano Ronaldo finally started in Tuesday’s Champions League game against Celtic. The Portuguese Superstar is gaining match fitness since his return from injury and his determination to be at his peak proves a lot through his will to feature in the squad as much as he can.

Ronaldo has never started on the bench since he last did that at Stamford Bridge and he hopes to keep his place as a starter despite few worries about his fitness.

Earlier on Monday evening, the Star winger spoke to Manchester United TV about his United career.

Ferguson likely to drop Ronaldo for Celtic clash

Manchester United’s ace and winger Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to miss tonight’s Champions League match between the Red Devils and Celtic.

The Portuguese Superstar is still recuperating from the ankle surgery he had earlier in the summer therefore, Ferguson believes Ronaldo should patience before regularly playing full games.

It has been reported that the Scottish boss met with his former assistant coach Carlos Queiroz over the issue of Cristiano Ronaldo’s fitness, and that Queiroz’s advice resulted in Fergie’s decision to rest Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo nominated for the Ballon d’Or

The French Football magazine has released its list of 30 players in contention for the Ballon d’Or Award later in December. Eleven Premiership footballers have been nominated.

Amongst them are Arsenal’s Adebayor and Cesc Fabregas, Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres as well as Chelsea’s Frank Lampard. Wayne Rooney is also part of the nominees but the hot favourite to win this prestigious award is his Manchester United teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Euro 2008 winner Iker Casillas has also been include in the list, but his club rival Lionel Messi looks more like Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiercest challenger in this competition.

Ronaldo scores as Manchester United cruise to victory

Saturday’s late kick-off in the English Premier league featured the reigning champions Manchester United at home to West Bromwich Albion.

After a week of international fixtures, the attention was yet again on club football.

Fortunately, Ronaldo was fit to play for the Reds despite receiving a slap on the face during Portugal’s game against Albania.
